Pretty Mumma is a delight. Such a gentle well manered soul who has spent lots of time with volunteers.
Mumma knows sit and also like to shake hands. Loved being handled and walks nicely on lead to and from the run. Mumma ignores the dogs either side of her and on the way to the run. A very pretty girl with such a lot to offer.

Dear little chicken, I love this tiny tot. Charlotte arrived with a nasty skin condition which has improved dramaticly during her stay at the pound. Aside from the skin complaint she is in good condition and very spritely on her feet. Her eyes are great for an older gal, she was a delight to bath and spend time with.

Blondie is a lovely old timer who is great on his feet and happy to be handled. Blondie was angelic while being bathed by a new volunteer. He is in quite a state and such a good boy A happy sweet little fellow, fingers crossed for Blondie.

In the cage he was friendly and jumped lightly and keen to get out
In the stand and ignore he stood at the end of the lead and was distracted
In the withdrawal of affection he loved the pats and then stood at the end of the lead
He was happy to be handled all over
He was resistant to sit and drop and did not do either
In the stranger he initiated friendly contact and jumped up
In the kid test he initiated contact and then avoided the child so best suited to older kids
In the dog to dog he was forward and although friendly the tester dog was not keen to meet as he tried to jump on his head
In the food test he was not interested in the dry food or the bone
In the toy test he was not interested either
In the correction on chain he was sensitive to correction and walked well. He did start to limp and was quiet sore in the front leg and was holding it up. Suspected arthritis
This boy doesn't know anything and was stressed so was not interested in treats.

This boy is a favourite of the pound staff. They say he's good with other dogs and people. I did meet him briefly last week when testing the then urgent dogs and he was happily wagging his tail through he wire.
I'll try to go in and get some photos and more temp info. He was found near Karabah High School in Queanbeyan.

The cost of purchasing a dog from the Wyong Shire Animal Care Facility is :

$221.05 (desexed and immunised) + $15 or $40 registration (pensioner or non-pensioner) + $30.60 microchipping fee.
